BELOIT HEALTH SYSTEM NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED WITH AN ‘A’ FOR THE FALL 2020 LEAPFROG HOSPITAL SAFETY GRADE

BELOIT, WI. (December 22, 2020) – Beloit Health System receives the highest Patient Safety Rating of providers in Rock County, WI, and Winnebago County, IL. Beloit Health System was awarded an ‘A’ in the fall 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, a national distinction recognizing BHS’s achievements in protecting patients from harm and providing safer health care. The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization committed to health care quality and safety. The Safety Grade assigns an ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’ or ‘F’ grade to all general hospitals across the country and is updated every six months. It is based on a hospital’s performance in preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, infections, and other harms to patients in their care.

AREA FIRST RESPONDERS POLICE/FIRE/EMS TO SALUTE HEALTHCARE HEROES IN SPECIAL TRIBUTE

BELOIT, WI. (December 10, 2020) — The City of Beloit Police, Fire, EMS, and Area First Responders will be paying a special tribute to the Beloit Health System Staff in honor of their continued commitment to the Community during the COVID pandemic. Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement Agencies from the area will be present at Beloit Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 14th. At 6 pm, First Responders, who will be stationed outdoors, will turn on vehicle lights, (no sirens), and show appreciation by applause. “This is a very meaningful tribute. We are humbled by the support and recognition of our Healthcare Heroes. Their dedication and sacrifices are unwavering, and we are proud to recognize them with this special Tribute,” commented Tim McKevett, President and CEO.
