September is National Suicide Prevention Month

For the next several weeks, the American Counseling Association will be dedicated to raising awareness of suicide and advocating the prevention of this public health crisis. We are committed to shedding light on this largely stigmatized and difficult topic by providing resources to inform and educate professionals and the community on how to identify warning signs, take action, and significantly reduce the number of deaths by suicide.  Here is information about the Beloit Health System's Counseling Care Center and the resources available locally>>

Check out the Suicide Prevention Month webpage, and downloadable resources.

If you are struggling, or you are concerned about someone you know, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 (press 1 if you are a Veteran or Service Member), or chat online at suicidepreventionlifeline.org/chat/.
