Thank you to the entire Stateline community for the wonderful turnout for the Beloit Stop of the Packer Tailgate Tour!

It was a tremendous opportunity to show off the city and the generosity of its people. We are most grateful to our sponsors, the volunteers who made sure that the event ran smoothly, the local organizations that kept the crowds entertained while they waited for the arrival of the Green Bay Packers, our partners at the City of Beloit, and those who assisted us in publicizing this event. The Green Bay Packers are unique in offering this opportunity for their fans and they were a pleasure to work with.

The proceeds from this event will benefit the patients and families of Beloit Regional Hospice and its Transitions program clients. Beloit Regional Hospice is an independent, non-profit hospice that has served a five county area for 30 years. Founded by volunteers in 1982 with generous financial support from area organizations and individuals, the vision of our founders to provide quality end-of-life care continues to drive our mission each and every day.

Spirit of Caring Award

Beloit Regional Hospice is pleased to announce that this year’s Spirit of Caring Award was presented to Jeanne Bengsch at the organization’s 8th Annual Doves and Diamonds: Celebrate Hospice event. When presenting the award, former Board President and Wisconsin Secretary of Tourism, Stephanie Klett, said that Bengsch “has been an ever-present advocate for those in the community and a staunch supporter of Beloit Regional Hospice. She dedicated 9 years of service to the Board of Directors of Beloit Regional Hospice, she attends and volunteers at many events and has been the backbone for the success of Doves and Diamonds for all 8 years of its planning and growth. In addition, she is a quiet yet steady advocate for many in the community who are entering their end of life journey.” The Spirit of Caring Award is given annually by BRH to an individual, organization or business that has demonstrated dedication to strengthening the hospice concept in the Stateline community in an effort to improve quality of life.
