Your next opportunity to volunteer has arrived!  This is a two day training program and is scheduled for Saturday, August 27th, and Saturday, September 10th, 2016, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Beloit Memorial Hospital in the auditorium. Volunteers assist patients and families by providing companionship, emotional support, caregiver relief, or light housekeeping as needed.  They also assist in the office providing support to the staff.   These volunteer training sessions are designed to provide you with information on hospice care and end-of-life education including:

  • Hospice goals, services, and philosophy
  • Communication and family dynamics
  • Active listening
  • Symptom and pain management
  • Spirituality
  • Dying, death, and the grieving process
  • Volunteer opportunities

Volunteer Today

Volunteer Training is an informal, interactive learning experience.  We will provide refreshments and a light lunch each day.

You must attend both days of volunteer training, to volunteer with Beloit Regional Hospice.
