Beloit Regional Hospice 2015 Annual Report
2015 was a momentous year for Beloit Regional Hospice! We welcomed a new Executive Director, Natasha Weberg, began the creation of a Palliative Care Program, and cemented our long-standing partnership with Beloit Health System.
Natasha joined us in June 2015, and she brings two decades of health care experience, both clinical and administrative, to the Executive Director position, with a Master’s Degree in both Nursing and Health Care Administration. Gene Van Galder, Former Board President at Beloit Regional Hospice said, “…“Hiring Natasha Weberg was the perfect fit for Beloit Regional Hospice. She grew up in the Beloit area and worked as an RN for BRH earlier in her career – in a way she is coming home. We are
thrilled to have found someone with experience in health care delivery and a passion for hospice and our community to lead the organization.”
A Palliative Care Program has been in the works for quite a while at Beloit Regional Hospice. Our January 2016 merger with Beloit Health System and the partnership and resources they provide will allow us to create a meaningful service for our Stateline Community.
Beloit Regional Hospice was pleased to announce a partnership that will further advance compassionate, high-quality care for those with life-limiting illness in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Effective January 1, 2016 Beloit Regional Hospice became part of Beloit Health System. The merger solidifies a long-standing partnership between the two organizations who have worked together for many years to provide a continuum of care for the community. Beloit Regional Hospice actually started way back in 1982 as a group of volunteer medical professionals meeting in an office out of Beloit Memorial Hospital, so in a way this merger brings the organization full circle.
